*NEW* The Covid-19 pandemic

Published 28 March, 2021

After the approval of the first vaccines against Covid-19 at the end of 2020, vaccination is now ramping up globally. As the level of protection in communities rises with vaccination, societies will be able to reopen.

In recognition of some countries experiencing lock-down at the present time, abstract submission deadline has been postponed to May 15, 2021.

We continue the planning of the 4th world congress based on the educated prediction that this will be possible in September. Due to the nature of the ISEBTT society, transdisciplinary interaction will be very important, and thus the congress will be an event with physical presence. We look very much forward to this celebration of science and of transdisciplinary, international collaboration. It is expected that documentation standards for vaccination/negative test (‘corona-passport’) will be implemented in the coming months, making international travel easier.
